Building Surveyor needed in Manchester

This is a temporary contract initially paying £40.00ph PAYE

The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background, holding a BSc in Building Surveying or a related RICS‑accredited degree, and will be confident in diagnosing building defects, preparing specifications, and producing AutoCAD designs. They will demonstrate solid knowledge of building and planning legislation, CDM Regulations, and a range of construction contracts including JCT, PSPC and NEC3/4.

Working within a busy Minor Works team, they will lead and manage construction, repair and refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery to the required quality, programme and budget. They will also contribute to wider programmes of work, supporting internal clients and collaborating with specialists across surveying, design, cost management and CDM compliance to deliver safe, high‑quality and sustainable developments across the city.
