BI Developer needed in Lincoln Paying  £17.97 per hr ref 376143

Full time hours on a temporary basis 

Key ResponsibilitiesPower BI Development

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and paginated reports.
• Create and optimise semantic models, measures, relationships, and row-level security.
• Develop and maintain dataflows and shared datasets to support enterprise reporting.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive and impactful visualisations.

Data Modelling & Architecture

• Apply dimensional modelling and star-schema design principles.
• Collaborate with data engineers to design scalable reporting solutions.
• Ensure reporting solutions align with wider data platform architecture and standards.
• Document technical designs and data models.

Operational Support & Estate Management

• Manage and maintain the Power BI environment, including workspaces, gateways, dataset refreshes, and security.
• Monitor report performance and implement optimisation improvements.
• Ensure all developments meet governance, security, testing, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BI platform and reporting issues.
