Accountancy Assistant Contract Full Time

Accountancy Assistant based in Worcester and the rate is £10.41 per hr

This role will involve:

• To drive, develop, and provide effective and proactive financial challenge to the operational services within their remit
• Providing administrative support and dealing with correspondence to the Directorate for applications to the Court of Protection.
• Corresponding with service user’s family and solicitors to ensure repayment of Deferred Payment Agreements (DPA).
• To work as part of a Financial Services team assisting to ensure the team is responsive, flexible, efficient and customer focused.
• Provide financial advice and support to Authority staff on all aspects of debt recovery and ensure financial governance is adhered to
• To support the monitoring of debt, bringing any significant variations or unusual events to the attention of the appropriate budget holder, service manager or Head of Service.
