Head of Building Control needed in Kingston Paying  £472.97 per day ref 1620528

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Building Control team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of building control services, including plan assessments, site inspections, and enforcement actions.
  • Ensure compliance with national building regulations, health and safety legislation, and local policies.
  • Provide expert technical advice on complex construction projects and regulatory matters.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the council in legal proceedings, public consultations, and professional forums.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and performance targets effectively.
