Lifeline Control Operator

Lifeline Control Assistant needed in Merthyr Tydfil Paying  £13.26 per hr ref OR12385

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the confidential Lifeline records system accurately and securely.
• Programme and maintain Lifeline and Telecare equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Receive and respond to all Lifeline calls in accordance with the Control Room’s Code of Practice.
• Act as the on-duty operator in the Control Room on a rota basis, ensuring continuous coverage.
• Provide guidance and assistance to service users, next of kin, scheme managers, and nominated contacts to determine the most appropriate response to calls.
• Monitor and respond to alarm systems, including any future additions to the system.
• Record and action all out-of-hours maintenance calls and queries on behalf of the organisation and contracted partners.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by the Corporate Support Manager or other senior officers, as deemed legal and reasonable.
• Perform any additional tasks that are reasonable and commensurate with the role.
