Health and Safety Officer needed in Exeter

The rate is £ 20.98ph PAYE

The successful candidate will support the provision of an effective health & safety service for on all matters relating to health & safety legislation, corporate policy and procedures to ensure that the organisation meets its statutory health and safety duties.

They will be responsible for providing on the ground advice to services, enabling operational staff to meet their compliance obligations. They will also support Service Leads with the identification of operational risks without taking away accountability for compliance from the operation of the service and will provide professional advice, guidance & instruction on health and safety legislation, corporate policy and good practice across a range of disciplines within the organisation.
