Payroll and People Advisor needed in Chelmsford Paying £26 – 30,959 k per annum ref 19519
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Responsibilities:
- Compile contracts of employment and ensure compliance with HMRC statutory absence legislation.
- Manage payroll transactions, including tax, national insurance, and pension regulation contributions.
- Undertake user acceptance testing for payroll systems.
- Provide high-quality payroll services and customer-focused transactional support.
- Resolve payroll queries efficiently and perform analytical processing within one or more payroll disciplines.
- Deliver advice, support, and guidance that is simple, clear, efficient, and effective.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of HMRC statutory absence legislation.
- Knowledge of tax, national insurance, and pension regulation contributions.
- Experience in compiling contracts of employment.
- System knowledge to undertake user acceptance testing.
- Ability to handle a high volume of diverse transactions and work to strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
