Transport officer 5171381 Full Time Temporary

Transport officer needed in Derby £14.87ph ref 5171381

Full time hours on a temporary basis.

1 full time person required until March 2022 or restructure if sooner, to support additional workload pressures in relation to Local Transport Plan preparation.

The rate reflects the Client’s current salary rate. However this is negotiable based on market rates.

Role includes work to support commencement of a new Integrated Transport Plan (evidence gathering and initial policy drafting).

Also some potential activity around transport related implications of new town deals in Clay Cross and Staveley (commissioning feasibility studies etc)

Experience in one or more of the following would be essential:

• Transport policy development
• Regeneration bid development (involving highways and transport schemes
• Feasibility study development and appraisal;
• Project management, delivering in a multi-disciplinary environment and working across multiple partner agencies
• Facilitating/ driving physical regeneration schemes
• Working in local govt environment as the officer will be required to work closely and liaise internally with key DCC services
