Trading Standards Enforcement Officer needed in Birmingham paying £14.19 per hr PAYE Ref:352801
This role is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Responsibilities:
- To comply with the client’s health and safety policies.
- To follow safe working practices and assist in the maintenance of good housekeeping practices in order to achieve a safe and healthy working environment.
- To contribute to the review and preparation of relevant risk assessments.
- To be responsible for maintaining relevant records, data and statistics using computer systems, where appropriate.
- To comply with the Division’s Enforcement Policy
- To plan and co-ordinate investigations, trade audits or surveys into particular firms or individuals in connection with possible serious or complex offences and to produce reports for legal proceedings as appropriate.
- To undertake routine inspections or visits to trade premises to enforce Trading Standards Legislation.
- To be responsible for the safe custody of evidence, exhibits and court documents and for their production in court. To attend court to give evidence.
Ideally candidates will have a full UK driving licence
