Technical Services Assistant needed Based in Southampton and the rate is £10.41ph PAYE

Through the Programme Managers and the Employment and Skills Manager, support the delivery of a high quality maintenance and commercial service by planning and deploying resources, communicating with customers and staff enabling the client to meet its business objectives ensuring that all policies, standards and statutory requirements are met.
To support managers in the provision of HR, secretarial, training and general administrative support in a customer-focused environment ensuring that day to day property repairs and maintenance services; void property redecoration, associated planned maintenance/improvement works, decorations vouchers, tendering, scaffolding, asbestos removal are initiated, processed and completed in a timely manner.
Ideally candidates will have:
NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience of working in a busy maintenance environment to meet deadlines / standards.
Have a practical understanding of the construction / property maintenance industry, general repairs and void property management, asbestos, scaffolding and damp reduction. Ability to interpret and provide advice on the client’s policies and procedures and relevant statutory regulations.
To be computer literate in use of office systems and to understand back office systems and processes with a thorough understanding of IT and how effective IT systems can support the efficiency of organisations.
