This is a key role in the team with responsibility for developing an innovative Social Purpose of Land Framework which follows on from a Land Commission report. That document will provide a robust framework for balancing financial and social outcomes when making property decisions across the council’s portfolio. The intention is that a draft report will go to Cabinet in October 2025. The post manages consultants and drives the process to completion through co-ordination with senior officers and councillors.
