Sustainable and Active Travel & Road Safety Project Manager based in Cardiff and the pay rate is £17.51 per hr.
This is a full time temporary role.

- Project-manage the development of design and delivery of sustainable and active travel projects, including, walking and cycleway schemes, improvements to support active travel to schools, and other schemes to facilitate active travel in line with the client’s policies and corporate priorities and to meet the statutory requirements of the Active Travel Act and supporting guidance.
- Develop programmes for the implementation of projects including identifying key milestones and risks and management of risks.
- Collaborate with colleagues and co-ordinate inputs of multi-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver projects.
- Work with the project design team to prepare concept designs, prepare and submit bids, budget monitoring, consultation, monitoring performance and progress of projects.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior managers on project progress including highlighting risks and actions to manage and mitigate risks.
