Social Care Lawyer needed in Worcester Paying  £35 per hr ref 1102955

Full time hours on a temporary basis

 This role will involve:

• To handle legal matters (as allocated from time to time) in relation to the statutory functions concerning Adult Social Services law and comprising advising on all aspects of community care, mental capacity Law including DOLS, mental health and the Care Act 2014

• To appear as advocate in any forum in particular the Court of Protection and County Court to prosecute, pursue, or defend any case or matter on behalf of the Council, to include the application of the Court of Protection Rules and /or the Civil Procedure Rules where applicable.
• To bring and defend claims for Judicial Review in respect challenges to public body decisions to include public law practice and procedure.
• To participate in the implementation, development and maintenance of Practice Management, office procedures, case management systems
• To record promptly on (Iken) case management system all relevant case specific documentation and time worked, in accordance with the Division’s time recording system, when in operation
