The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, proposal, consultation and implementation of projects such as new pedestrian crossings, controlled parking zones, local parking restrictions, traffic signal-controlled junctions, zebra crossings, and other varied measures to contribute to a safer road network within the borough.

These measures often require site investigation at a local level with a view to assessing potential problems and workable solutions. We are seeking to fill a vacancy for a Senior Engineer post. This is a role for a confident, knowledgeable, and experienced individual who is keen to take up a new challenge and further their career in Traffic and Parking. The successful candidate will be responsible for site investigation of parking queries, responding to queries, designing, and implementing traffic and parking schemes.
