Senior PH Officer Full Time Temporary

Senior PH Officer needed in Sutton £400.00 per day ref:5183245

This role will involve:

• Deliver a high quality and professional analysis and interpretation on population health evidence and intelligence to support the BLMK ICS Place based priorities, along with ad hoc reporting as required.
• Identify data needs and obtain, verify and organise that data and information. Extracting, analysing and interpreting information from population health intelligence and epidemiological sources while understanding the implications of data quality, collection and coding, and using expert knowledge to assess, mitigate and communicate these limitations.
• Provide specialist advice on epidemiology, population health intelligence, statistics, health datasets, evaluation and data collection methodologies.
• Apply a range of statistical/database software, other analytical tools, epidemiological methods and analytical judgement to collate and analyse data to produce intelligence that informs decision making, planning, implementation, performance monitoring and evaluation.

Ideally candidates will have:

• Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience in epidemiology, medical statistics or population health intelligence.
• Proven ability to use a range of statistical/database software, other analytical tools, epidemiological methods and analytical judgement to collate and analyse data to produce intelligence that informs decision making, planning, implementation, performance monitoring and evaluation.
