Senior Lead Officer Full Time Temporary

Senior Lead Officer needed in Bedford paying £279.22 per day PAYE – Reference: 5204321

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis

 Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of multiple teams internal and external to the client to plan and commission new schools and school expansions.
• Work with the local development and planning teams and legal teams within the school to maximise the potential for financial contributions toward new education and childcare provision
• Undertake an annual review of the School Places Plan including timely member approval
• Lead on the development of an effective capital investment strategy in support of the statutory duties for education including sufficiency and accessibility of schools places
• Bring forward recommendations, in response to opportunities for capital investment in schools, projects which will address suitability and sufficiency
