Senior Criminal Litigation Lawyer needed in North London Paying  £24.81 per hr ref 013401

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead on a varied caseload of criminal litigation matters, including serious and high‑profile cases.
• Provide specialist legal advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present cases effectively in court, including advocacy in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts where appropriate.
• Draft and review legal documentation, evidence bundles, instructions to counsel, and charging decisions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory duties, professional standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Support and mentor junior lawyers, trainees, and paralegals.
• Work collaboratively with external agencies including the police, CPS, defence solicitors, courts, and expert witnesses.
• Contribute to service improvements, policy development, and strategic planning.
