Senior Communications and Content Officer Full Time Temporary

Senior Communications and Content Officer needed in Islington £23.41 per hr PAYE – Reference: RQ579533

This role will involve:

• To support in developing, implementing and delivering a digital communications and engagement strategy to engage residents and other key stakeholders with the client’s vision and priorities, support behaviour change and promote and protect their reputation.
• Working closely with the Strategic Communications Leads, create multi-channel, content led campaigns in support of the corporate and strategic priorities, ensuring that activity is appropriately targeted and positioned to engage relevant audiences and encourages behaviour change where applicable.
• To be responsible for the co-ordination, production and evaluation of corporate or high level publications such as the council tax mailing and the school admissions brochure. Ensuring high quality, value for money results, in line with deadlines and corporate frameworks and standards.
• To play a key role in the development, delivery and evaluation of the brand strategy and channels, growing engagement with the community brand, and delivering the monthly e-bulletin and quarterly magazine. As part of this, take the lead on planning, researching and editing all content, including sourcing or commissioning appropriate case studies, and creating audio/visual content.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
