Sales Support Officer needed in South west London Paying  £18.52 per hr ref 005284

Full time hours on a temporary basis  

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to our Commercial Waste team and customers. This role requires a conscientious person to support the division’s entrepreneurial approach to service delivery, maximizing sales of new contracts, and ensuring customer retention by striving to ‘get it right first time’ and increasing market share through acquiring new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to customers, answering telephones, responding to emails, processing post, and other communication channels.

• Promote a positive and helpful image of the commercial waste service, working proactively to resolve problems satisfactorily.

• Provide financial and service advice to customers and team members.

• Process digital and analogue documents, maintain accurate records, and manage filing systems.

• Communicate with contractors, handle service notifications, and resolve customer issues.

• Check reports, liaise with teams to resolve missed collections and queries.

• Issue and maintain Waste Transfer Notices, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Update and maintain sales trackers and reports for account changes.

• Provide financial advice on account status and payment options.

• Undertake debt recovery actions and maintain accurate records.

• Work in liaison with all members of the commercial waste team to ensure excellent support for administrative duties.
