Regeneration Manager needed in Bristol, £28.49ph PAYE – Reference: 5264083
Working 3 days per week (Flexible on the days)
The Regeneration Manager will be leading our work in the City Centre and will be managing a team of 4 staff. The role will be based on site.
The candidate should ideally have experience of leading large scale regeneration projects in complex urban environments and leading negotiations with multiple stakeholders
• Support the Head of Regeneration to ensure that strategic objectives & policies are met through the delivery of key projects and programmes and that sustainable, inclusive growth is promoted.
• Effectively lead the successful delivery of a programme of complex regeneration projects to time, budget, meeting the required quality standard and agreed corporate outcomes.
• Effectively and meaningfully engage local communities in regeneration projects & ensure the benefits of growth are harnessed to meet local communities needs and aspirations.
• Effectively manage and work collaboratively with a range of external stakeholders, inc community & developer partners to ensure the effective delivery of regeneration projects which promote inclusive growth and create places people aspire to live, work and visit.
• Ensure robust programme & project management systems are in place. Produce regular accurate reports for to the Mayor, Boards, Funders, Cabinet Members & Senior Officers.
• Ensure projects are appraised, using appraisal software, against business objectives and accurately reflect costs, income, funding, programme and quality to optimise the benefit to the Client and local communities.
• Ensure that multi-disciplinary design teams, Consultants, Contractors/Developers are procured and contracted managed effectively in line with legal, procurement and financial procedures to ensure best value is achieved.
• Ensure that strategic service objectives & policies of regeneration meet the diverse aspirations of all stakeholders, are communicated and implemented through the delivery of regeneration projects.
This is a part time role on a Temporary contract basis.
