Ranger Contract Full Time

Ranger needed in Derby

The rate is £12.39ph PAYE

This is a temporary role

The successful candidate will work as a warden across a diverse portfolio of Countryside sites including Country Parks, Multi-user Trails, and many other varied greenspaces.

They will be required to work one out of four weekends.

Details of the tasks covered in the role:

• Site patrols
• Safety checks
• Litter picking
• Emptying bins
• Advising the public
• Mobility scooter hires
• Feeding the waterfowl while monitoring for signs of avian flu
• Checking car park machines
• Supporting the shop staff with deliveries, restock etc
• Fencing and other maintenance work
• Working with volunteers
• Responding to public reports eg anti-social behaviour, injured wildlife etc
• End of day lock up
