Quantity Surveyor Contract Full Time

Quantity Surveyor based in Bedford and the rate is £250.00 per day

This is a part time temporary contract role.

With a number of significant and exciting development sites underway our client is looking for an assistant quantity surveyor to assist in the delivery of several key projects to support the busy in house engineering team.

The applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent Excel skills and preferably experience in use of financial system software
• Experience of assisting in the assessment of valuations and contractor quotations
• Awareness and understanding of the Method of Measurement for Highway Works.
• Ability to work to challenging and changing deadlines and workloads;
• Ability to work in a commercial and customer focussed way which achieves programmes, meets performance targets, generates and income for the engineering team and meets the council’s corporate objectives.
