Public Health Programme Lead needed in East London £360per day ref 412891

Working full time hours on a temporary basis.

We are looking for a experienced and competent public health professional to join our dynamic and friendly team. We are passionate about delivering an excellent public health service to support the health and wellbeing of children and families in the borough. Public Health Programme Lead – Children and Families Covid-19 response

This is a new post to provide additional capacity in the team around the Covid-19 response.

Your role will be to lead on important elements of the Healthy Children and Families’ Covid-19 response. You will work closely with the team’s Programme Manager for the Covid-19 response and other team members to ensure these priorities are delivered, including: – Ensuring schools are supported in their management of cases and outbreaks – Leading public health input into support for clinically extremely vulnerable children – Oversight of infection control training for services working with children – Developing the school health service role in the Covid-19 pandemic – Providing leadership in the reduction of inequalities relating to children and families – Engaging in and facilitating the roll-out of Covid-19 vaccines in children’s settings – Developing a Covid-19 recovery strategy for children and families
