Project Worker Contract Full Time

Project Worker Based in London and the salary is £13.39ph PAYE

This role will involve:

Project workers will be responsible for providing practical support to individuals accommodated in various specialist accommodation services delivered by the client. This means delivering face to face, virtual and telephone based support work to help people affected by homelessness to secure positive housing, health, employment, and wellbeing outcomes.

The post holder will support people by completing comprehensive client assessments, safety planning and key working. They will work with people to identify their personal aims and support them to turn assessments into practical action plans. The post holder will be responsible for supporting people to understand their rights and responsibilities to maintain their accommodation.

• Managing telephone, email and face to face communication with people living in the accommodation services and relevant professionals and members of the public seeking help
• Provide empathetic communication that recognises and reduces the distress and anxiety that people facing homelessness are likely to experience.
• Carry out comprehensive client assessments, identifying priorities and ongoing need, risk and assets including establishing move on options

Ideally candidates will have a DBS check
