Project Manager Contract Full Time

Project Manager based in Hammersmith and the rate is £28.50ph

This is a full time temporary contract role.

The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of specialist surveyors, contractors and professional services consultants in the delivery of a wide range of complex reactive repairs and major works projects.

This is a senior role that will be required to engage at both an operational and a strategic level with stakeholders, consultancy organisations, major construction companies and the Community (residents – leaseholders and tenants).

The candidate will be a member of an appropriate body either MCIOB or MRICS

To provide high level, expert professional/ technical advice and guidance to colleagues, managers and other departments regarding a wide range of Building Surveying Services, Specification writing, Repairs Diagnostics and related Project Management duties.

To proactively engage with customers, contractors, leaseholders, tenants and all related Officers such as Housing Management, Legal Services, Leasehold Services, Social Services (Adults & Children’s Services) and the Home-Buy Team in the delivery of the Repairs Service.

To contribute to the commercial viability of the Property Team ensuring business/financial targets are met and fees/charges monitored and recovered. The role will be responsible for preparing budgets, monitoring costs, preparing schedules and specifications of work, estimates, making payments and monitoring procurement of subcontracts and materials across the Borough in relation the capital to the Complex Repairs works programme
