Project Engineer Contract Full Time

Project Engineer based in Uxbridge and the pay rate is £20.25ph   

This is a full time temporary role.

The successful candidate will be analysing Condition survey data to prepare a priority listing for the CW resurfacing and the FW reconstruction projects using the asset management principal – whole life costing

They will be required to:

• Undertake site visits and assessments as required to review most appropriate highway treatments based on condition data.
• Prepare a cost estimate based on the proposed treatment type.
• Management of – Asset data management – Symology – Insight – (Updating the Asset Register, UKPMS model) and provide advice/support.
• Ensure Asset inventory is updated in timely manner
• Manage Members Enquiries/Petitions/FOI’s/resident enquires/adoption quires
• Identify and manage Maintenance Funding/bidding
• Manage and monitor the highways budget – financial forecast
• Updating the annual plans and monthly reporting on the highways schemes (liaising with deliver team)
• Work collaboratively across the highways service to deliver the service plan and objectives.
• Ensure timely and informative reporting – performance objectives (Risk, issues and other deliverables)
• Prepare a short term programme of works for all asset types i.e. CW, FW, Road Marking, Drainage
• Prepare a road marking list to deliver a line marking programme.
• Ensure Highways statutory and compliance obligations are fully met – council risk management system
• Provide advice and support on relevant legislations and regulations.
• Assist Highways Programme Manager in preparing an Asset Management Plan
