Procurement Governance Manager Full Time Temporary

Procurement Governance Manager needed in Kingston upon Thames £316.33 per day PAYE – Reference: RQ577860

• Managing the development of contract regulations which reflects current legislative requirements and also enables the client to have good governance around contract decision making and continuously secure Value for Money in its contracting activities
• Keeping governance arrangements, policies and associated guidance under regular review, and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and comply with relevant procurement regulations and procedures.
• Updating the governance framework to enable effective and proportionate challenge
• Supporting the implementation of the ethical sourcing, social value and sustainable procurement strategies within the context of Environmental, Economic and Social considerations and making sure it is aligned with the client’s priorities.
• Providing a clear framework, guidance and support for end-to-end commissioning
• Developing the culture, behaviour and capability to lead future savings programmes and deliver sustainable improvements
• Manage a team that supports the delivery of the commissioning governance and policy framework.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis initially
