Procurement and Commercial Manager needed in Hackney £300 per day PAYE – Reference:RQ410152

This is working full time hours on a temporary contract basis

You will manage and lead the delivery of all stages of letting out of community services contracts with particular emphasis on the tender process for Adult Social Care and preventive services. You will provide advice and support on efficient and cost effective purchasing of services on behalf of the Directorate, ensuring high quality outcomes and value for money, through tendering and contracting activities, supporting negotiations and benchmarking and upholding best practice. The post holder will provide advice and support in developing commercial approaches and help to ensure the effective and timely delivery of commissioning intentions. You will also manage 2 procurement officers and a support officer, working with the full commissioning team and in particular the strategic commissioners in the team.
