Principal Insurance Officer Contract Full Time

Principal Insurance Officer based in Stoke on Trent and the rate is £21.00ph PAYE

This is a full time role working on a temporary contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the insurance portfolio, including insurance arrangements for external companies

They will actively defend liability compensation claims and litigation against on a cost effective basis in conjunction with the Insurers and Legal Advisors to reduce the cost of risk where possible

They will establish and maintain an appropriate and cost-effective insurance portfolio as required by the Assistant Director – Finance to protect financial standing and will provide professional insurance advice and claims handling services to the council, directorates and schools.
