Planning Officer Contract Full Time

Planning Officer based in Liverpool and the rate is £18.51 ph PAYE

This is a full time temporary contract role

 This role will involve:

• To provide specialist heritage advice on planning applications, in particular in relation to major city centre projects
• To assist the Team Leader in managing the statutory Development Management functions in terms of assessing planning and other applications, preparing reports and recommendations, preparing appeal statements and giving evidence to public hearings/inquiries, giving pre-application and general advice, responding to complaints breaches of planning control and general enforcement matters.
• The preparation and review of the Liverpool Local Plan including the monitoring of progress against milestones and the identification of risks and contingencies where necessary
• To undertake the on-going review of the condition of the city’s historic buildings and to up-date
