This is a full time temporary role.
Our client is looking for a PFI Contracts Manager. To assist with compliance checking and auditing of reports from Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) especially in relation to performance and ensuring services meet the output specification. Liaison with the SPV on all phases of the PFI portfolio. Managing the monthly Unitary Charge payments process for all phases including applying any deductions for unavailability and poor performance in the school buildings. Seeking to identify and action possible project wide improvements and savings for the schools and authority. Using Knowledge of PFI’s to assess change requests made by the contractor/Schools. Leading on contract administration of the PFI including financial transactions, invoicing and budget management. Resolving any payment disputes with contractors. Lead source of knowledge on all implications of PFI for future educational strategy in Lancashire including academy conversions. Developing means to validate benchmarking and market testing reports as provided by the SPV securing best value for schools on delivery of Soft FM services.
