Network Specialist Full Time Temporary

Network Specialist needed in Portishead paying £450.00 per day PAYE Ref: 461308

This role is working full time hours on a temporary basis

• Works within a designated team and across virtual teams as necessary.
• Provides expertise (including as the Subject Matter Expert) to a range of complex and/or major technical support and development services. This will include, but is not limited to the following:-
• Provision, analysis, design, development and solution
• Development of standards, strategy and policy.
• Service monitoring, pro-active prevention and associated maintenance.
• Fault diagnosis and resolution (includes the development of effective systems testing processes)
• Capacity planning, patching and upgrades
• Evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
• Technical Project lead and project resourcing.
• Expertise in estimating effort and timescales for delivery of BAU and projects.
• Accurate resource management, planning and forecasting to enable production of agreed delivery plans and roadmaps.
• Provision of specialist advice and guidance.
• Understands and complies with use of all standard procedures and ITIL processes.
• To work, as directed by the Team Lead, to deliver an effective, high quality service to the organisation and all its customers.
• Research and resolve technical issues in a timely manner and follow up directly on recommendations and action plans to deliver an effective and efficient first class seamless IT service provision
