The main tasks assigned to the right person will be:

• Working on the review of the constitution.

• Developing a scheme of delegation with colleagues in the Finance Department.

• Supporting the Independent Remuneration Panel with their review of remuneration of certain roles.

• Working with colleagues in the Finance Department around the Annual Governance Statement and ensuring continuous monitoring against any actions. Experience should include: • Public sector/local authority experience • Experience in governance, including experience in reviewing constitutions and developing schemes of delegation

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
