Library Assistant needed in Penarth £9.81ph ref 426795

Full time hours on a temporary basis.

We are looking for a candidate to work with customers at the library in Penarth. The post they are covering is for 25 hours a week, worked over 4 days per week including a share of Saturdays. However, we would like the appointee to work full time (37 hrs) through the summer until 1st September and this may continue into the autumn. They will be covering a member of staff who has gone on a 3 month secondment which may or may not be extended. Library work involves dealing with customers of all ages and we require someone who is personable and has had previous experience of customer service. They need to be quick to learn, flexible enough to deal with multiple situations, and comfortable working on computers and with technology.
