Lawyer (Hybrid) Full Time Temporary

Lawyer (Hybrid) needed in Bolton, £45ph – Reference: 0007 E1DC / 1

We are currently looking for a lawyer specialising in local government law with a particular focus on employment law and civil litigation.

Main Duties
To advise in relation to regeneration schemes, drafting appropriate documentation which protects and promotes the interest and coordinating other officers as part of a legal team as necessary.

To assist in matters relating to the statutory functions.

To advise members and other officers of appropriate matters within the post holder’s responsibility.

To keep up to date with relevant new legislation, case law and policy and participate in appropriate further training opportunities.

To contribute and participate as an active team member in the Legal Services Division sharing knowledge with other officers.

To provide assistance and cover for colleagues within the Department when required.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
