Landscape & Green Infrastructure Specialist Ref 1370700 Full Time Temporary

Provide specialist landscape and green infrastructure advice including pre-application discussions, evaluating and negotiation of planning applications, scrutinising detailed schemes and overseeing the delivery of new facilities.
• Establish partnership arrangements with key environmental stakeholders and community groups to move forward on a strategic vision for landscape.
• Role delivery aligns directly with the Council’s vision of a greener, more sustainable Somerset.
• Strategic input into the evidence base for the Local Plan and allocation of sites in the Local Plan.
• Working closely with partners across the Council area, the postholder will provide a key role in establishing the stewardship arrangements to support the diverse landscape character of the area.

Full time hours on a temporary basis.
