Junior Power BI Developer needed in South London paying £195 per day PAYE Ref: 5162726
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Purpose:
To be responsible for the maintenance and development of existing Power BI solutions that have been approved and used within the division. The role’s primary purpose is focused on the technical aspects of utilising Power BI to its fullest potential, techniques and technologies to convert our data from current sources into visual and insightful management information.
Responsibilities:
To maintain confidentiality on all information relating to service users and staff (past and present), ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.
To produce statistical information that supports performance management and operational managerial decision making based upon data that is reliable and of good quality.
To develop, publish and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business data and time requirements.
To create technical documentation for Power BI solutions and maintain the ongoing changes.
Support training and guidance to managers and practitioners around data and performance management and how these products are utilised to support effective social work practice.
To support in the research, collation, capture, storage and publication of evidence and datasets to support strategic planning and decision-making within Children and Families
To support the updating of analytical products for Children and Families to support strategic planning and commissioning.
The post-holder will be required to liaise with colleagues across the business to ensure that data and intelligence are shared widely and efficiently.
To prepare and maintain periodical Children and Families performance reports and present these to managers and other stakeholders to ensure understanding
Be a champion for Power BI solutions within Children and Families and support all necessary dataset creation, validation, and reporting to support compliance with these.
Liaise with front line workers and managers to provide appropriate support, guidance, and advice within Children and Families to improve the usage of data and performance monitoring, Power BI dashboard navigation and facilitate the provision of operational management information to Children and Families to agreed timetables and specifications.
