It Project Manager needed in Portsmouth £355.97 per day ref: 5185429

This role will involve:

As part of our Project Management Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of our Azure project.  This project will be delivered in conjunction with a 3rd party and is central to our Strategy as we look to migrate applications from our Data Centre to the Cloud.

The post holders will be responsible for planning, coordination, control and mitigation to enable the successful delivery to the agreed time, quality and budget.

Their previous experience will enable them to report confidently to the Project Board, Senior Management Team and the Project and Programme Management Team Manager, identifying issues and providing potential solutions

Ideally candidates will have:

• IT Project management experience
• PRINCE2 Practitioner qualified or equivalent /substantial experience
• Agile project management
• Stakeholder management at all tiers of an organisation (e.g. Board of Directors, Departmental Heads, Section Heads, operational teams)
• Budget management and cost reporting
• Microsoft Project
• Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency management
