This is a full time temporary role.
Our client is looking for an IT Information Governance Manager.
To act as the Data Protection Officer and advise the SIRO and Director of IT on how to maintain the strategic balance between technical controls and user awareness/training, to optimise organisational efficiency. This role is statutory and reports into the highest management level in the organisation.
The successful candidate will develop robust information governance systems and processes that meet both statutory and requirements pertaining to access rights and records management. They will ensure IT systems and processes are complaint with the Data Protection Act and GDPR, whilst also delivering required outcomes and ensure that Information Governance initiatives are integrated into the core business functions and service business plans across all services.
They will actively contribute to directorate initiatives by assessing the impact that will achieve and implement business priorities and corporate objectives to meet the needs and lead the development and implementation of Information Governance policies and procedures to support the delivery of Information Governance.
