The successful candidate identify and plan investigative actions at PIP 1 level, taking into account resources, priorities, and proportionality in order to pursue all reasonable lines of enquiry. They will collect and gather material, intelligence and evidence from a range of sources and interview victims and witnesses, applying appropriate interviewing principles and techniques to gather all required information.
