Insurance and risk officer needed in Derby £13.74ph ref 506864 Full time hours on a temporary basis. Role – Working proactively to ensure that the claims diary is kept up to date.
Dealing with settlements, claims queries, and pursuing outstanding correspondence and liaising with departments to obtain documents relevant to the claim.
Reviewing medical evidence, recognising when further evidence is needed and negotiating quantum by making appropriate reference to the JC Guidelines and case law
Carrying out legal research to assist in responding to liability and quantum disputes
Provide liability advice to departments after carrying out a careful analysis of evidence Mix of home and office working. |
