Information Governance Paralegal needed in London £25ph ref 408342

Working full time hours on a temporary basis.

We are seeking an IG subject access officer until 31/3/2021 to act as a gatekeeper for SARs. This role will sit within the Information Governance team in Legal Services. Previous experience is desirable. This work includes undertaking: • Creation/amendment of policies, procedures and practices including a forward plan document and relevant report • Creation of data protection relevant intranet guidance and articles for our IG page • Embed data protection awareness, practices and responsibilities in all service areas • Monitor compliance with SARs • Identify risks and recommend corrective actions and mitigation • Provide training and guidance to all service areas on SAR procedures including exemptions and time limits/extension • Be the point of contact for data subjects and the ICO in respect of SARs
