Information Governance Lead Contract Full Time

Information Governance Lead based in Manchester and the pay rate is £350.00 per day

The landscape with regard to managing, sharing, and using information and data is changing at a rapid pace. This requires an information governance approach that is innovative, accessible, and consistent to enable public service delivery.

We are looking for experienced Information Governance Lead on a short-term basis to work within our Information Governance Shared Service to provide information governance support. 

As an Information Governance Lead you will primarily provide high quality expert information management advice, relating to information governance, information security, data protection and, freedom of information and significant support to large-scale and complex programmes and information sharing arrangements across public service delivery.

The Successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Data Protection Practitioner
• Have significant and extensive experience in delivering information governance in a public sector setting.
• Have extensive demonstrable experience providing IG support to large scale and complex projects involving multiple partners and stakeholders and complex data sharing arrangements.
• Have extensive experience of supporting an organisation in the effective use of data protection impact assessments and in creating information sharing agreements to support complex programmes of public service reform.
• Have significant experience of providing IG advice and support to major complex procurement programmes and contracts.
