Information, Advice & Guidance Advisor needed in Barnsley paying £12.95 per hr PAYE Ref: 408151

This is working full time hours on a temporary basis

To support the operational delivery of externally funded contracts relating to employability through the delivery of appropriate information advice and guidance activities and interventions as required ensuring all associated contract outcomes and outputs are achieved

Responsibilities:

Supporting unemployed adults to access employment, education and training opportunities.

Good current understanding and working knowledge of the routes into employment, education and training opportunities particularly relevant to south Yorkshire.

Ideally experience of working with unemployed adults and of the welfare benefits system.

Ideally experience and knowledge of working with outcome related funding and following funding guidelines. This will include completing relevant forms, updating systems and collating appropriate evidence for customers.
