Housing Allocations Officer based in Newbury and the rate is £13.00ph

This is a part time temporary contract role.

The successful candidate will be available to start as soon as possible. The candidate will need to be flexible to work from the office and from home.

• The post holder will assist with the operation of the Common Housing Register by checking, and inputting new applications and updating changes to existing applications
• To provide a telephone and face to face service for housing clients contacting in person, in writing and by telephone about their housing register application and how the Choice Based Lettings system operates.
• To provide comprehensive and customer focused administrative support service to the housing operations team in order to support the work of the service area.
• The post holder will also develop effective working practices to meet the changing needs for the client and the Authority’s commitment to continuous improvement.
