Homeless Team Manager Contract Full Time

Homeless Team Manager based in Birmingham and the rate is £18.78 per hr PAYE

This is a full time temporary contract role.

This role will involve:

• Support the development and day-to-day operation of the Housing Solution & Support Case Management Service. Support the service to operate within legislative requirements and statutory targets for homelessness and pre-tenancy services.
• Support the Strategic Lead to ensure the service delivers customer focused housing solutions and support that help to eradicate and reduce risks of homelessness.
• Oversee and ensure staff deliver successful homeless prevention outcomes and effectively support households to sustain their tenancies or secure alternative accommodation.
• Monitor and ensure staff deliver expert housing advice and solutions; conduct thorough assessments and investigations; timely make referrals to other LAs and support agencies; deliver high quality case management; and make informed homeless decisions within statutory targets.
• Ensure staff work collaboratively with the Temporary Accommodation (TA) service to move on homeless households in TA into suitable secured accommodation.
• Help the service to embed a culture of actively preventing homelessness by regularly delivering case management supervision and continually monitoring staff case outcomes.
• Conduct statutory homeless reviews impartially and ensure review decisions are made in compliance with relevant policies, legislation and case law. Compile case bundles for court proceedings and when required represent the client at court hearings.
