Home Ownership Officer needed in West London paying £15.45 per hr PAYE Ref: 5163680
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Responsible for advising tenants on the RTB scheme and ensuring applications are processed within the statutory timescales by:
Implementing and development all procedures relating to the processing of RTB applications as required by the Housing Act 1985 (as amended)
Preparing all aspects of the RTB process for the sale of properties.
Checking for completeness, accuracy and compliance with legislation for preparation of all new applications
Ensuring requests for service charges, asbestos report, insurance information and Energy Performance Certificate are checked and received within timescales.
Upon receipt of the RTB application checking for accuracy of the application from Neighbourhood Team.
Preparing the S125 Offer Letter and S128 Offer letters and sending within the 12-week Statutory timescales.
Instructing and monitoring the appointed valuation consultants to ensure valuations are accurate and is received within SLA.
Responding to various correspondence and other forms of enquiry submitted to the service relating to RTB matters and dealing with telephone enquiries promptly
Responding to enquiries efficiently in writing and in person and provide advice to officers and members of the public on RTB matters.
Ensuring all information are verified and checked to ensure solicitors instructions are given to the legal department within enough timescales.
Liaising with Investigations team to prevent Housing fraud in relation to the sale of property and to ensure all tenants comply with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations Act 2002.
