HMO Licences Full Time Temporary

HMO Licensing officer needed in Birmingham £14.19ph ref 324939

Working full time hours on a temporary basis,

A 6 month Pilot has been launched to respond to concerns in Supported Exempt Accommodation

The focus of the pilot is on quality and value for money of provision and to work with stakeholders to raise standards and tackle examples of poor practice.

A multi-disciplinary team is needed to check and inspect properties to assess accommodation standards, assess support, and take enforcement action if HHSRS standards are not met. Inspections will be conducted in compliance with Covid-19 guidance and relevant risk assessments

We are therefore looking to appoint to the following positions

10 Quality Standard Assessors/Review Officers

 2 Environmental Health Officers.

 EHO’s will need to be able to assist with and undertake the relevant property inspections and exercise any statutory powers.
