Grant Coordinator Contract Full Time

Based in Dudley paying £13.60ph PAYE

This is a full time temporary contract.

Our client is looking for a Grants Coordinator. To support the process of application and grant administration of a government grant scheme.

The successful candidate will support and manage grant appraisers by allocation tasks and ensuring that workload is managed in a timely and effective manner. They will provide daily and weekly updates to the Economic Development Manager on progress of the scheme and personally undertake appraisal; and processing of grant applications, which includes:

• To assess the applications being submitted for the direct grant funding
• To review applications against the eligibility criteria set out for the scheme.
• To analyse bank statements.
• To contact businesses about missing information or supportive evidence for applications to be fully assessed.
• To contact businesses with any queries about income and outgoings within their bank statements
• To respond to those answering business enquiries about the scheme.
