This is a full time temporary contract role.
Our client is looking for a Grant Accountant.
To support and have an understanding of local government grant accounting regulations and the need for certification over COVID-19 grants and other grants for the 2020/21 year and potentially the first quarter of the new financial year.
They require someone who has the tenacity and the drive to strengthen structures over not just the government returns but the recording and reviewing of both grant income but expenditure, to ensure compliancy with the terms and conditions of the grants. This individual will need to put in processes so that we can provide detailed monitoring reports to directors, ensuring that funding is maximised for the benefit of the local community
